How AI Is Changing the Way Businesses Build Their Marketing — And How to Use It

Behind the Process

When brands first hear that we use AI to build their storefronts, some of them are skeptical. They think AI means generic, templated, or low-quality. The opposite is true. Our AI stack allows us to move faster, think deeper, and deliver higher quality than any traditional design agency — at a price point that would be impossible without it.

This article is a transparent breakdown of exactly which tools we use, what we use them for, and why they make a material difference to the quality of what we deliver.

Claude — The Strategic Brain

Claude by Anthropic is our primary AI for everything language-related. Brand strategy documents, conversion copywriting, product description rewrites, customer journey mapping, email sequences, and content strategy. Claude does not produce generic output — when you feed it your brand voice, your target customer, and your competitive positioning, it produces copy that sounds like the best human writer you have ever worked with, available instantly and at any scale.

ChatGPT and GPT-4o — Research and Ideation

GPT-4o is our research engine. Before we redesign any storefront, we run the brand's niche, top competitors, and target customer profile through GPT-4o to identify positioning angles most brands miss entirely. We also use it for keyword research, SEO gap analysis, headline variation testing, and competitive intelligence monitoring for retainer clients.

Midjourney — Visual Direction

Midjourney generates our hero imagery, campaign visuals, and brand mood boards. We do not use stock photography. Every image we use is generated specifically to match the aesthetic of the brand we are working with — the right colour palette, the right lighting, the right mood. Traditional agencies either source expensive custom photography or use generic stock. We generate images that are genuinely on-brand in minutes.

Runway ML — Motion and Video

For Tier 4 Elite Growth Partnership clients, we use Runway ML to generate motion graphics and video content for landing pages and campaigns. A cinematic product video that would cost thousands to produce traditionally can be generated and refined in hours. This is what we mean when we say AI is a force multiplier, not a shortcut.

Figma with AI Plugins — Design and Prototyping

Every project starts in Figma. We use AI-assisted layout generation to prototype faster, but every design decision is reviewed, refined, and approved by our team before a single line of Shopify code is touched. You see exactly what you are getting before we build it. No surprises.

Hotjar and Heatmap Analysis — Data-Led Decisions

For brands with existing traffic, we run AI-assisted heatmap and session recording analysis before redesigning anything. This tells us exactly where users are dropping off, what they are clicking, and what they are ignoring. Design decisions made from real user behaviour data outperform ones made from aesthetic preferences every time.

Surfer SEO — Built-In Rankings

Every page we build is run through Surfer SEO to ensure it is structured, titled, and written in a way that gives it the best chance of ranking organically. Most designers build sites that look good but are invisible on Google. We build sites that look good and get found.

The result of this stack is a storefront that would take a traditional agency 6 to 8 weeks to deliver — done in 10 to 14 days, at higher quality, with a full SEO and conversion strategy built in from day one.
